Colour Mixing Printables

I've been creating these three printables today, in preparation for this Friday's video publication, all about mixing colours with Play-Doh!

I'm also editing my new website, where they will be available for you to download and print for your kids from Friday.

Coming Friday 7th February 2020 - Video Tutorial - Mixing Colours with Play-Doh

Every Friday I will publish a new Video Tutorial on my YouTube channel.

7th February 2020 is our first week! The video will show how to make a whole rainbow of colours using just the three primary colours - red, yellow and blue (with a little white) - using Play-Doh!

You can purchase your own Play-Doh pack by clicking our Amazon Affiliate Link HERE, or click on the picture below*.

Use this week’s hashtag to share your accomplishments on your favourite social media platforms: #SALMixColoursPlayDoh

We’d love to see your work in the ‘Starfish Art Lab - VIP Group’.

Welcome to Starfish Art Lab

Welcome to Starfish Art Lab - the place to learn and experiment with art!

One of the first things I want to share with you is Colour Theory: a blend of science and art - think rainbows - the beautiful arc of colour that appears in the sky with a mixture of sun and rain (caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of sunlight in the water droplets).

We will be using Play-Doh so that my youngest son (age 6) can learn how to mix colours using just the Primary Colours, and see how well that works - I love experimentation in art!

We'll also be playing with paint and seeing how easily the colours mix to make different colours, so watch this space...

Thanks for joining in the fun. Please feel free to share with other families with kids that love art too.
